Introducing So Country, the interiors accessories brand inspired by the very people and animals who make up the beating heart of the glorious British countryside
The rustic countryside look is proving to be one of the most enduring interiors trend of 2018 with wildlife and field sports imagery in fashion, and So Country’s collection provides both inspiration and some beautiful pieces to furnish your home in keeping with this desirable aesthetic.
The range of homewares available at So Country is inspired by the rural life of founder, Paula. Based in the glorious countryside of North Devon, the aim is to create beautiful home style pieces and accessories inspired by the lifestyles of the very people who live and work in the countryside. Paula’s life is certainly full to the brim with iconic country elements, living in a thatched cottage in the West Country with her husband, 6 dogs, 2 horses, a pony, and a rather outnumbered cat. The fabric collection is designed and made right here in England, and features designs by renowned artists.
Colin Allbrook draws the designs – he’s a prominent and renowned artist in North Devon but also regularly exhibits all over the country specialising in country and waterside art.
The So Country collection features a plethora of local wildlife along with the Hounds from Paula’s local hunt. The recently launched equestrian range reflects her love of anything horsey; hunting, racing, dressage and showjumping. The equestrian range comprises cushions, tea towels, Aga tops, mugs and fabrics.
All items are currently made in England and the So Country team are proud to help keep British manufacturing alive.
