Countryside milliner Caroline Nicholls branches out with a homeware collection

 In Press Releases

Caroline Nicholls is best known as a talented milliner and country wear specialist. Creating a range of beautiful hats, fascinators, clothing and accessories from her Somerset HQ. But the latest additions to her collection extend that keen eye for stylish countryside perfection to the home. The first items to be added to the homeware collection are some truly wonderful cushions. With designs inspired by equestrianism and countryside life. Which all feature the stunning artwork of Anna Thompson.

Anna Thompson is a well-known country artist hailing from County Durham. Where she works in a studio on the family farm weaving a heritage steeped in horses and the countryside into bold and beautiful equestrian and country-inspired prints.

Moreover, a selection of prints now feature on luxurious velvet cushions. Filled with soft duck feathers and finished with self-coloured backs and piping. Choose from a wide range of designs on square cushions at £68.00 or bolster cushions at £65.00.

The perfect addition to a country home

The designs chosen by Caroline Nicholls for her collection include ‘A Winter’s Tale’. A stunning cushion depicting a huntsman and his fine grey horse surveying a snow-covered moor. As well as ‘Dash’, a hare contemplating the viewer as it races for cover against a dark Scandi-blue background. There are also pheasant, fox, fairground and cattle designs. All featuring Anna’s bold brushstrokes and clever use of vibrant colours in this homeware collection.

The cushions from Caroline Nicholls’s first homeware collection will make the perfect addition to any country home.  Injecting colour and gorgeous designs as well as cosy comfort. Furthermore, why not treat yourself to your favourite design or select the perfect present for someone else? For example, for the pheasant-obsessed, ‘Bill’, makes a truly wonderful gift!
