Purdey & Sloane celebrate a successful brand launch at the 2019 Game Fair!
If you missed the Game Fair this weekend, then I’m sorry to say that you also missed the highly-anticipated launch of brilliant new British skincare brand Purdey & Sloane! Purdey & Sloane was set up with the specific aim of creating nutritional skincare products for country-loving ladies. So what better place to launch the brand than the Game Fair? The brand’s gorgeous skin treats are formulated specifically for ladies who love to work and play in the great outdoors. But who don’t want to compromise on having great skin.
The Game Fair was held at Hatfield House in Hertfordshire from Friday 26th to Sunday 28th of July. And is an annual celebration of every single aspect of the British countryside. Thousands of visitors (and their faithful canine companions!) flock there over three days. To take in the wide range of trade stands, exhibitors and incredible food outlets. This year’s event saw Purdey & Sloane hitting the road for the very first time. And joining much-loved country clothing brand Emma Brown Tweed on a joint stand. It was time to unveil the Purdey & Sloane skincare range!
The launch products – Daily Defender, 12 Bore Mist and Overnight Recovery – together make up the Purdey & Sloane Kit for Skin, a one stop shop designed to support skin before, during and after exposure to the elements.
The brand’s founder Claire is an award-winning cosmetic formulator and a passionate advocate of British farming. So the products are made from carefully-chosen British botanicals to calm, protect and soothe.
Even a rather rainy day on Saturday didn’t damped spirits, with customers flocking to the stand to try out the Purdey & Sloane products and take the very first chance to buy some for themselves.
For Clare it marked an incredible moment in her journey, seeing the very first Purdey & Sloane customer with their branded shopping bag in their hand as they went off to continue enjoying the show. Claire comments: “I am exhausted but delighted! I absolutely loved collaborating with my dear friend and fellow rural business owner Emma Brown Tweed. As we shared a brand on Gun Makers Row. I’m already amazed at the messages I’ve received. Those from people who bought the products at the show and can’t wait to do our next one! But, for now, a much-needed rest and the chance to dry out!”
